I started capturing weddings along side Melissa four years ago now. It has been such a blast to capture moments in time for so many couples to relive forever!
I love telling peoples stories whether through photos or video. Every couple is unique and I get excited about creating a new story for each and every one of them.
Being born and raised in Southern California, naturally I love to surf. Another one of my greatest passions is coffee. You name it, I can make it. My wife bought me an espresso machine for our anniversary, and it's hard to live a day with out it now!
As a child I was obsessed with taking photos on disposable cameras. When I was 12 years old my parents bought a Canon Rebel (for themselves). I believe the first day they bought it was the last day they saw it. My siblings became my muses for my photoshoots and my obsession for photography grew even stronger.
I was the photographer for my Junior High yearbook and by High School I started charging for senior portraits. The Summer after I graduated I shot my first wedding and I’ve been hooked ever since! It’s been 10 years now shooting weddings full-time and I can’t imagine my life any other way. I’ve been so blessed to be able to take part in over 300 weddings all across America and internationally. I love making clients my friends and getting to know their families and loved ones through their wedding as well. I’ve always loved telling stories, and it’s so neat that I have the opportunity to do that through my photography every single day.
My favorite things to do when I'm not taking photos are to go have a date night with my babe, go hiking, camping, traveling, sit by the ocean, visit wineries, make candles, and go antique shopping.
We met 8 years ago volunteering at a canned food drive in Beverly Hills. I was 19, and he had just turned 20. He asked me out shortly after meeting, although I was moving back to Seattle and didn't want a long distance relationship. Fast forward 5 years and I was living in Tijuana, Mexico volunteering at an orphanage. I would come up to a relatives lake house in SoCal on the weekends where his cousin ironically had a lake house as well that he would visit often. Through social media again we reconnected and realized we were consistently within a few miles from each other. He once more asked me out, and I finally agreed. Our first date we both knew we were going to marry each other. A few months later, we had our "big fat Egyptian wedding"! We've now been married for three years and it has been such a blast! We are passionate not only about weddings, but about healthy marriages. We know that a wedding is just one day of our lives, but the best part starts the day after!
